Development of a baby during the first trimester part 1

Salam everybody. ok hari ni nak kongsi about perkembangan baby dalam rahim pada 1st trimester starting dari minggu ketiga. info ni short and simple and dapat dari apps babybump. maybe ade ibu-ibu yang tak ada fungsi apps ni so here i am sharing this info with you guys out there. 


Week 3

Your third week of pregnancy is technically your first gestation week after conception. At this stage, your baby is a developing ball of cells called a blastocyst and is making its way through the fallopian tube to the uterine cavity where it will continue to grow and develop for the next 37 weeks.

Baby size : less than .1 inch
Baby weight : less than .04 oz


Week 4


The blastocyst is now officially considered an embryo and is busy implanting into the lining of your uterus where the placenta will continue to develop. 

Baby size : less than .1inch, like a poppyseed
Baby weight : less than .04 oz



Week 5

At this stage your embryo is dividing into three layer of cells. The top layer will eventually become the central nervous system : the brain, spinal cord, spinal nerves and the backbone. The middle layer will develop into circulatory system and the bottom layer is where the lungs, intestines, thyroid and other major internal organs will develop. 

Baby size : .13 inch, like an appleseed
Baby weight : less than .04 oz



Week 6

Your baby is rapidly growing and will triple in size this week. Basic facial features such as eyes, and ears are becoming more develop and the neural groove will have closed by this time. The tiny heart is starting to pump blood. Along the midline, 40 tiny blocks of tissue are developing which will eventually become the backbone, ribs and muscles of you baby`s back and sides. 

Baby size : .25 inch, like a small pea
Baby weight : less than .04 oz



Week 7

This week your baby`s brain is becoming more complex and is developing cavities and passages vital for circulating spinal fluid. Your baby`s face is also becoming more defined with the lenses of the eyes and middle part of the ear forming. Tiny arms, legs, hands and feet are also beginning to bud.

Food for pregnancy


Happy Tuesday ya`ll =) Harap semua sihat la ya. ok im suck in introduction so lets skip this part and move on to the main topic la ya. harini rasa nak share some of the supplement and food that I`ve trusted and consume during my pregnancy. 




For vitamin, memang tak ada brand lain melainkan OBIMIN PLUZ. since belum pregnant lagi dah makan vitamin ni. 1 single pill and it contains every vitamins that we need. so tak payah la consume banyak-banyak pill lagi. selalu tengok ramai pregnant lady makan 3-4 pill sekali makan. paling famous pill yang diambil are salindah, folic acid and shaklee. lepas tu ade jugak yang memandai cakap kalau makan obimin or segala ubat doctor provide nanti baby besar. what?? tak ada maknanya, baby besar mungkin sebab ibu tu sendiri ade komplikasi masa mengandung macam kencing manis or darah tinggi. genetic jugak boleh sebabkan baby yang lahir tu besar. obimin or any other vitamin seeloknya diambil dari awal usia kandungan. masa trimester pertama la segala tisu, organ baby mau terbentuk. jadi jangan lupa to start early with your vitamin. and jangan sekali-kali ambil vitamin or supplement tanpa arahan doctor. jangan main ikut saja apa orang cakap n recommend sebab setiap orang tu tak sama jadi jangan lupa to talk to your doctor first before you consume any pills. 




As for milk, yes sangat penting. Anmum materna was my first choice tapi lama-lama tekak tak boleh terima sebab its too creamy. some women boleh go on dengan anmum but not me this time. sebungkus sudah buang macam tu saja and another one is on the line to the trash bin.



Masa checkup previous pregnancy, doctor ada bagi smaple dumil mama ni. it taste like a vanilla ice cream and tekak sangat-sangat boleh terima susu ni. sangat sedap tapi harga dia a bit pricey than anmum materna. 




Ok yang susu kambing hi-goat ni, actually saja nak try lepas baca review and baca info pasal khasiat dia. ok la hubby beli la sekotak, habiskan katanya. susu ni tanpa gula. and tak ada rasa hamis kambing. comes in a sachet. so tak payah la cedok guna sudu macam susu anmum and dumil mama tu. harganya lagi mahal dari susu lembu dia atas ya puan-puan. sekotak is rm45 and ada 15 sachet saja. boleh minum 2 kali sehari, pagi and malam. tapi suka hatila kalo rasa nak minum susu ni setiap jam pun, tak ada halangan. hahahaha. 





Pati delima gulsan ni beli untuk ganti kalau-kalau tak ada buah delima. boleh bancuh dengan air suam or just minum macam tu saje sesudu besar. rasanya masam-masam manis. 






Delima. buah yang paling bagus untuk dimakan sepanjang kehamilan. banyak khasiatnya. antaranya adalah :

  • Membantu mengurangkan alahan ibu mengandung
  • Membantu memberi tenaga untuk ibu mengandung dan menyusu
  • Membantu perkembangan otak bayi dalam kandungan
  • Membantu mendapat bayi yang sihat dan kulit yang cantik

Kajian di seluruh dunia telah dijalankan ke atas manfaat kesihatan jus delima. Menurut penyelidik, ibu-ibu mengandung yang berisiko melahirkan anak dengan kelahiran pramatang. Dengan mengamalkan pengambilan jus buah delima, ini dapat membantu mengurangkan risiko bayi dalam kandungan mengalami kecederaan otak yang disebabkan oleh kadar pengaliran oksigen yang rendah di dalam darah. Jus delima menjadi satu sumber bagi asid folik yang diperlukan bagi pembangunan yang sihat bayi. Asid folik adalah satu komponen yang diperlukan dalam pembentukan sel darah merah dan DNA. Wanita yang mempunyai paras asid folik yang lebih tinggi semasa awal kehamilan berkemungkinan mempunyai bayi yang sihat.





Ok madu ni diminum seawal pagi sebelum makan or minum apa-apa. madu sesudu besar dibancuh dengan segelas air suam. madu memang sangat membantu nak hilangkan loya pagi-pagi and nak kurangkan pedih ulu hati. 






Jangan lupa untuk makan sayur-sayuran, buah-buahan and ikan secukupnya untuk dapatkan khasiat yang cukup sepanjang kehamilan. daging and ayam kurangkan pengambilan. organ dalaman seperti hati ayam,pedal ayam sebaiknya jangan diambil lansung. pastikan setiap hidangan lengkap dengan sayur-sayuran dan ikan for 2-3 servings per day. pengambilan ikan bagus untuk baby.



seperti ibu-ibu lain, i do feel nauseas every morning. some people suka makan asam. mana saja pergi, berkepit dengan asam and jeruk nak hilangkan loya. i do have some pickles once in a while with just a small amount. selebihnya, dried apricot, raisins, dried cranberry and dates la yang dimakan untuk hilangkan loya setiap hari. asam and jeruk tidak digalakkan. for snacking, i go for nuts. almond, cashew nuts, and mix seed. healthy snacking is important. 

So thats it. itulah yang diambil sepanjang kehamilan. i do experienced a morning sickness but im trying my best to eat as healthy as i could. selera memang tak menentu tapi memang kena kuat and makan untuk kebaikan ibu and anak. till the next post ya.

Khasiat susu kambing



Ramai juga yang telah mengamalkan Susu Awal Lembu sebagai pemakanan tambahan, tetapi susu kedua terbaik selepas susu ibu ialah susu kambing.
Kajian saintifik telah menunjukkan bahawa:
  1. Susu Kambing tidak mengandungi Protein Kompleks (Alpha-casein & Beta-casein Protein) = penyebab utama alahan
  2. Kandungan Asid Lemak Rantaian Pendek dalam susu kambing lebih tinggi berbanding dalam susu lembu

Through my experienced, i`ve met few mommies who are desperately wanting to loose weight as soon as they deliver their babies. yes i know, semua nak badan macam miranda kerr, adriana lima, cindy crawford lepas bersalin. nanti tak hot mommy la kalo badan empat segi tepat kan. tak boleh nak berfesyen ala ziana zain, eraa fazira and rozita che wan kalo tak pasang badan lepas bersalin. disebab kan ini jugala ibu-ibu decide untuk pantang setengah mati lepas bersalin. memang diakui pantang bagus untuk wanita tapi jangan main ikut saja. ingat ibu-ibu bersalin kena susukan baby. and in order to produced milk, mommy kena makan a good amount of meal and a healthy food. 

imagine, masa pantang, kena makan ikan sepat masin, ikan kering, bawang merah, lada hitam, halia etc. air pun kena minum dua ruas jari saja. nasi kena panas, tak ada kuah. tak boleh makan sayur, ikan segar, seafood, telur, ayam,daging. lepas tu kena makan jamu itu ini. so tell me, with all this kind of food, how are you going to produce a milk for your baby? how are you going to recover after giving birth? during labour, a mother loss a lot of blood. so kalau tak makan zat yang secukupnya, how nak ganti balik darah yang hilang, how luka-luka nak sembuh? lepas tu semua sibuk bergantung harap pada supplement yang ada. u name it, salindah, biodex, shaklee etc, semua laris. tu belum masuk lagi product untuk weight loss. abc acai berry, fellina inchloss, teh herba etc. laris gila di pasaran. semua berlumba nak back to size xs/s lepas bersalin. eh tipula if i said i dont want to get back in shape lepas bersalin. tak kan anak baru seorang, badan dah tak de shape, dah pakai baju saiz xxxl. pitam laki dibuatnya.

im not against getting back in shape after having a baby but i feel sorry for the baby yang mane ibunya sibuk nak loose weight sampai lupa tanggungjawab kat anak. senang cerita, a selfish and obsessive mom yang nak sangat kurus. 

susu ibu adalah yang makanan terawal baby, which is given one hour right after delivery process. colustrum or susu awal ibu, the thick yellowish milk sangat bagus sebab dia bagi antibodi dekat baby. tapi tak semua mommy sedar hal ni. mane yang beranak kat hospital swasta, they just simply let their babies being feed with the cows milk. ha susu lembu. nak jenama apa? anmum essential? dumex? u name it. majoriti hospital swasta just letak sign PROMOTE BREASTFEED tapi tak dikuatkuasakan. susu lembu sedia ada to feed the baby. kesian dekat baby. balik ke rumah, ibu-ibu dah start pantang bagai nak gila. susu kan anak gitu-gitu aje, lepas tu complain baby tak nak dah susu ibu so ibu proceed dengan susu yang ada kat pasaran. the truth is, kalau kita tak ajar awal-awal, tak sabar dalam menyusukan anak, macam mana anak tu nak suka dengan susu ibu?? 

back to hal pantang. memang pantang tradisional malay, sangat strict. ade tu siap tak boleh keluar rumah, jejak kaki kat tanah for 44days alasannya nanti badan masuk angin. wtf?? makan pun tak blh banyak air, nanti vagina berair. wtf???? yes im not really into tradisional thinggy when it comes to pantang. during my confinement period last year, i ate lots of protein, carbohydrates, vitamins and drink lots of water. i do somehow follow some of the tradisional pantang thinggy such as bertungku, pakai bengkung and berurut. and i maintain my shaped by exercising. buat kerja kat rumah eg: kemas rumah, memasak pun dah kira exercise. solat pun membantu kita menggerakkan anggota badan. kira macam light exercise juga. 

ibu-ibu, jangan terlalu taksub. makanla dengan seimbang. minum banyak air. air masak 8 gelas sehari macam biasa, susu/milo/horlicks jangan dilupa. sayur, buah, ikan, ayam, daging makanla dengan amaun yang secukupnya. yes pantang tetap pantang. mana-mana makanan yang ada unsur sejuk, gatal, berangin and tajam, elakkan. air bicarbonat, ais, jangan diambil. vitamin tambahan boleh ambil tapi janganla sampai diri tu dah jadi macam farmasi, segala ubat telan sekaligus. kita bukan robot ya. halia + lada hitam memang sinonim as a most important pantang food. so cuba la makan steam or fish soup with ginger and black pepper. apa salahnya. masih juga lauk pantang. 

pasal nak cepat loose weight, studies have proven that u can loose weight by breastfeeding your baby. yes no doubt about it. kenapa takut sangat nak susukan anak? takut sebab kalo susukan anak, u will feel hungry and akan makan banyak, takut nanti bertambah gemuk. macam tu?? no you are wrong. if you breastfeed your baby, practice a good diet and exercise, u dont need to waste your money over those slimming pills etc in order to stay in shape right after delivery process. jamu-jamu and mahjun semua tak perlu. kenapa perlu rely on semua tu for the rest of our life to stay healthy while we can maintain it naturally? 

there is one case back then while i was in my clinical field, one of my patient sued her mother in law. mana taknya, dia paksa menantu dia follow her strict pantang, then sudahnya rahim menantu rosak terus kena remove. imagine u as a young woman who only just welcome one child, dah tak ada rahim, tak sempurna macam wanita lain while sebaliknya u can produce more babies. 

most mommy yang bekerja bagi alasan susah nak continue breastfeed sebab nanti nak pergi kerja, anak tinggal kat pengasuh or nursery so the choose those milk on the shelf.  senang katanya. cukup bulan, time gaji, borong aje berapa tin nak. siapa cakap susah to breastfeed even bekerjaya? zaman sekarang dunia dah maju. u have a portable breastpump, milk storage, warmer, cooler. pilih saja nak jenama apa. harga ikut kemampuan. mahal atau murah. dont tell me raising a kid is damn expensive while u can afford channel, gucci, prada or even lv. your kid should be your number 1 priority right? i`ve come across this one article, about a young mother, she`s no ordinary woman, she`s an airforce fighter pilot and amazingly, she still can breastfeed her baby. if she can do it, why cant you the office mommy?? 

so to all the mommies and mommy-to-be out there, ask yourself. anak yag diutamakan or diri sendiri yang penting? you want the best for your baby or just for yourself?

why i put the tittle SUNSHINE?? sunshine.. shine bright like a diamond.. LOL.. gituh.. mcm lagu rihanna sudah.. after what had happened last year, im glad im still able to put a bright smile on my face. pada yang dah tahu, tahulah. pada yang tak tahu, ok mari kita share cerita sikit. 

last year, me&hubs sgt2 happy when we heard the news and seeing our baby for the first time. waaah, tak sangka i was 10 weeks pregnant. even our baby is still small but we can see him moving around so active. i didnt know i was pregnant until hubs drag me to see the doctor. ehehe.. patutla gastritis menyerang dengan tiba2 sampai tak dapat nak puasa. yes masa tu bulan puasa and i was busy, super busy with my final exam. alhamdulillah everything went on smoothly even i have to deal with the pain while sitting in the exam hall. 

memang happy bila dpt taw we are expecting. but kuasa Allah, who can stop it?? everything that we have in this world, semua pinjaman dari Allah. on my 17th weeks of my gestation, my baby had left his mom&dad to be with his creator, Allah the Al Mighty. i was taken aback when the doctor informed me that she cant see the baby`s heartbeat. so she suggest me to go to another doctor in case she made a mistake. ok, hubs took me to another doctor and was given a referral letter to go to GH and see the specialist as she`s the only one who can confirmed the news. the whole family was praying for a miracle. i hope our baby can move around, that he was just sleeping before this. i did cry but silently. only tears running down my cheek, no words coming out. the day that we`ve waiting for finally arrived. kena pegi seorang diri jumpa pakar sebab hubs kena balik kl coz weekend dah habis. i`ve stayed in my in law`s place during my pregnancy. yes, the specialist confirmed me that my baby is no longer breathing. im shock but managed to put a smile on my face and act calm. but deep down in my heart, i was screaming, i was devastated. this is my 3rd pregnancy. i`ve been warded and the doctor induced me to 3 times to open up my cervical os so that i can deliver my baby. i didnt feel any pain nor did i had any symptom showing that my baby is no longer breathing inside me. alhamdulillah i managed to delivered my baby and i only experienced the contraction for just 30 minutes. everything went on fast and easy. my little precious was a boy, sudah cukup sifat semua with the size of both of my palm. very cute. me&hubs name him MUHAMMAD. OCT23,2012 was the date to be remember for the rest of our life. alhamdulillah our late babyboy selamat dikebumikan by his own father sebelah makam moyang dia. yes, hubs yg mandikan dia, kafankan dia and kebumikan. he did it with his own hands. i salute hubs dgn ketenangan dia but i still can see the sadness in his eyes. he took 1 week leave just to be with me. and im glad to have all my wonderful families around me, giving me support and making me smile. 

our baby, MUHAMMAD, was too beautiful, was too precious to stay in this world so he return to his creator. we know he`s up there happily beside his creator and waiting for us to join him soon insyallah. MUHAMMAD, wait for mom&dad =).. 

and... a few days ago, me&hubs welcomed another shocking news... yes, we are expecting again. its still fragile, still early. our whole family now is praying for the best for both me&baby. Arwah MUHAMMAD is now going to have a baby brother/baby girl. Alhamdulillah. Rezeki dari Allah. the best gift for us this new year. 

no matter how bad your day is, do believe that there is still a sunshine after.. i do believe coz i have found mine =)

new year ~ a fresh start

So here we go again.. my new blog =p. heee... pls bear with me. sekarang dah 2013, sudah new year so i want to start fresh. maka terhasil la another blog. oh yes, blog2 lama sudah di deactivatekan. and i`ll stick to this one insyallah =)
